Prompt: Write a poem about meeting Santa!
In a world of winter's hush, where snowflakes softly play,
I met a figure dressed in red, on a magical holiday.
Through a moonlit, snowy glade, a whisper in the air,
Jingling bells and laughter sweet, announced that he was there.
Santa Claus, with merry eyes and a beard so snowy white,
In a sleigh adorned with starlight, bathed in soft moonlight.
His reindeer, swift and graceful, pranced upon the night,
As Santa's laughter echoed, filling the air with pure delight.
He beckoned me to join him on his sleigh so grand,
With a twinkle in his eye, he extended a gloved hand.
"Come, my friend, on this Christmas Eve, let joy be our guide,
To spread the magic of the season, far and wide."
Through the starry heavens, we soared without a care,
Over rooftops, 'neath the moon, with gifts beyond compare.
The world below transformed into a canvas, bright and bold,
As Santa's sleigh, a streak of light, left a trail of stories untold.
In every home we visited, a tale of love and grace,
With stockings hung and twinkling trees, each a special place.
Children's dreams came to life, in the twinkle of an eye,
As Santa left his treasures, 'neath the midnight sky.
In the quiet moments between chimneys and the moon,
Santa shared the tales of wonder, like a favorite tune.
Of kindness, love, and joy, the essence of the season,
A message carried on the wind, with heartfelt reason.
As dawn approached with rosy hues, painting the world anew,
Santa turned to me with a smile, his mission pure and true.
"Remember, my friend, the magic lies within your heart,
Spread the joy of Christmas, for that's where it must start."
With a hearty laugh and a twinkle in his eye,
Santa bid farewell, soaring into the morning sky.
And in the quiet aftermath, as the sun began to rise,
I held the memory close, a gift that never dies.
For in that fleeting moment, 'neath the moon so bright,
I met the spirit of Santa, on that enchanting Christmas night.
