High School

August/September 2024

You chase the stars and reach for the sky,

Seeking perfection, wondering why.

But friend, don’t you see what I do?

You're perfect to me, just being you.

In every stumble and every fall,

I see your courage, standing tall.

It’s not the flawless path you tread,

But the heart in all that you've said.

Your strength shines brighter than you know.

It is not in the wins, but in how you grow.

So take a breath, release the strain,

You’ve already danced through the rain.

Perfection is a ghost that always flees,

But love and pride lives in moments like these.

No need to reach, no need to try—

You’re perfect, my friend, just as you fly.
