4 Reasons You Don’t Need to Go to College

1.) You Already are the Best in Your Field

You have graduated from high school with astounding grades and already know just about everything there is to know about your field of study/expertise. You are the “Einstein” of your field. What is the point of taking a college class about a topic that you already know everything about? You never need to ask a question about a concept, and even the teachers at your high school have asked for your help and opinions on certain topics, showing that even though they have been educated about this topic, you still know more about it. You have made revolutionary discoveries that have stunned your colleagues and had your name imprinted in history forever. Your studies are published around the world, making you a heavy influence in your field. You have also worked with people that have dedicated their future to this field and have challenged you to look at things from a different perspective.

If you know all there is to know about your field, then you do not need to attend college.

2.) You are an Expert in Every Topic/Class Offered

Not only are you a prodigy in your specific field, but you are also an expert in all the topics that intrigue and challenge you. There is not a single course that would challenge you, teach you more life skills, or provide you with new information. You are the definition of a well-rounded individual. Your language skills are even better than those of any novelist, your mathematical abilities surpass those of any mathematician that has ever existed! You can speak multiple languages with ease and there is no branch of science that you have not mastered or added to. No professor could challenge you in any field at all! Any homework assigned in whatever class, you could finish within a few seconds rather than take a few hours to complete like the majority of students. Tests would not even bother you! With your talent, you do not even need to study for them to get a perfect score, unlike the typical student.

If you know everything about every topic offered at college, then you do not need to attend college.

3.) You Have the Ability to Get Any Job

When applying for any job, you do not need to worry about the fact that you have not received a college degree. You are able to wrangle any job position, even one requiring a college degree, through your charisma and revolutionary achievements. Any employer would make an exception for you without a doubt. What is the point of going to college if you can get any job stretching from a fast-food employee to a doctor? You do not need to waste your time when you could be making money. Not one employer would question their decision about hiring you.

If you can get any job, even if you do not have a college degree, then college is not for you.

4.) You Already Have Worked/Been Surrounded by People that Share Your Ambition

Your ambition in whatever topic/topics that you want to focus on was most likely not shared with other people at your high school. Not all people want to study the same thing. However, you already have worked with experts in those fields, even the people that you looked up to. You have been part of groups where you were challenged to excel and learned about other ways of thinking. The people around you had the same goals as you and willingness to achieve them. You already know what it is like to be surrounded by people that wish to be the best of the best in your field. You have felt the competitive atmosphere created by them. You have been taught by a professor that has been around this higher level of complexity in your field and has extremely high expectations.

If you have been surrounded by people that share your ambition and willingness to excel in a certain field then you do not need to go to college.

If you do not need to attend college, then congratulations to you. You are extraordinary and have achieved the goals and dreams of many people. Perhaps you can give them advice on how to do it too. However, if you are like the majority of people, then college is just for you. What I can tell you, is that college professors will push their students beyond their previously conceived limits and have them excel in their fields of study alongside their ambitious counterparts.
