No matter where we go,

No matter what we do,

You’ll always be there for me,

And I’ll always be there for you.

You make me laugh when I’m feeling blue,

And I make you cry when I comfort you.

You always show love to whoever you meet,

And you do all that just because you’re sweet.

I appreciate all that you do,

And I never deserved a best friend like you.

You are the one I trust,

And because of you,

All my fears have been hushed.

You have taught me the most important lesson,

That when people judge,

Don’t feel their oppression.

Now when I’m hanging out with you,

Bullies can’t stop me from enjoying life too.

The future is coming,

But it is unknown,

So keep someone near,

And don’t be alone.

I’ve got my person,

And I hope you do too,

This is my person,

And this is your cue.

As you once said,

“1 universe, 9 planets, 204 countries,

809 islands, 7 seas, and I had

the privilege of meeting you”

I really hope all friends feel this is true.

No matter what happens between me and you,

I am forever grateful that you’re the one I knew.
