I see it all the time
The person who wears themself thin
Trying to take care of everyone else
You know who I’m talking about
We’ve all got someone like that in our lives
The one always looking out for us
Dropping their everything to help with your one thing
This poem is for them
Put yourself in the roots of a plant
For it to produce any fruit or flower
First it must be watered,
Gobble up yummy nutrients,
Bask in the sun
Then it will grow tall and mighty
Now spread those seeds to the wind
Do you see how far and wide they travel
All because the plant took the time to grow
This was well thought out with a lot of interesting characteristics of the characters. The rhyming was very well done and fitting in each line. Well done!
Really interesting take on social life and selflessnes!
