Prompt: How do you personally change with the seasons or how do you see others around you change (summer, fall, winter, and spring)?
Oh when I see the small, fragile leaves budding on the trees, my heart sings a violent song of love, the same thrill that I get when I see you. The way you look at me sends a shiver down my spine like the cool breeze of a spring morning.
Spring's warm gentle glow is akin to the way you smile. The smell of new life and flowers reminds me of your graceful stride. Each day as the sun rises I remember your rich voice.
The bluebirds singing in the treetops of the park makes your beautiful laugh ring through my head, echoing with the joy that once lingered in the moment. I swoon at the thought of the way you hold yourself up like the new grass erupting from the winter earth.
Oh how my heart longs to see you shine like the moon on spring nights, or to hear you laugh blissfully as the breeze. Spring's beauty will never be comparable to yours,
but I may as well try.
